KY Bicycle Regulations Resource
Purpose: This project was developed as an instructional resource for Kentucky residents to learn the regulations for operating a bicycle on the road, as listed in the state regulations. This resource takes the state regulations that are presented as a heavy body of text, and turns them into an interactive instructional elearning experience. Instructional Goal: To develop an instructional resource for Kentucky residents on the Kentucky regulations on bicycle travel.
Objectives:
When given the provided image of a bicycle with seven blank arrows, learners will be able to identify all 7 accessories required to meet safety standards as designated by Kentucky state regulations.
Learners will be able to describe the purpose of all 7 accessories required to meet safety standards as designated by Kentucky state regulations.
Learners will be able to identify the proper operation of a bicycle on the road as it relates to their designated areas specified by Kentucky state regulations.
Given a list, learners will be able to identify the 5 exceptions to the Two Basic Rules to Riding on the Road.
